Crowns & Bridges

The dentists at TadH are specialists in the manufacture of porcelain crowns and bridges. These are characterised by their extremely natural, aesthetic appearance.

Crowns

A crown may be used to replace a large filling when there isn’t enough tooth remaining, to remedy other defects such as a weak or fractured tooth, to improve a crooked or discoloured tooth. It will greatly improve the appearance of your teeth.
After the dentist has made an impression and fitted a temporary crown, a porcelain crown is handcrafted by the dental technician. The exact size and colour is replicated using the impression and a comparison with your other teeth. Then the dentist fits the crown.

Bridges

A bridge is used to replace one or several adjacent, missing teeth. The bridge consists of one or more crowns at each end which fit exactly over the teeth on either side of the gap. The middle section of the bridge consists of dummies which fill up the gap. A bridge allows you to chew better and prevents the other teeth growing apart and becoming crooked.
